Year 10 student, Georgia Heath’s cricket career continues to go from strength to strength. Georgia plays cricket for Cheshire in the Women’s County Championship and recently went on an age-group tour to Barbados.
The only girl in the 30-strong touring party, Georgia met and was coached by cricketing legend Desmond Haynes, and played the final match of the tour at the iconic Kensington Oval. She also met and worked with West Indian Coaches Ezra Moseley and Vasbert Drakes (former coach of the West Indies national side) at The University of West Indies.
Georgia’s involvement in the tour was picked up the women’s cricket online newspaper, CricketHer.com.
