The Grange School is located in the Heart of Cheshire, in the village of Hartford, providing many advantages over city centre schools.
The Grange Transport How To Guide The Grange Transport Passenger App Handbook
Parents wishing to use our transport system on a regular basis (rather than an ad-hoc booking) can make their regular booking online and in addition having done so, must also instruct their Senior School child to visit IT Services or their Junior School child to ask their form teacher so they can collect a transport fob.
Students new to The Grange School shall have arrangements communicated separately.
Bus fobs allow students to quickly swipe onto and off the bus.
The school offers a safe, reliable and efficient travel service to a number of locations across Cheshire including, Altrincham, Chester, Crewe, Frodsham, Kelsall/Tarporley, Knutsford, Nantwich and Wychwood Park. The service which is available and appropriate for the use of all our young people, aged 4-18, is provided by local, well-respected travel companies.
Drivers are DBS approved and where possible remain the dedicated driver on a particular route. Journey costs vary depending upon the location. Travel times are continually reviewed to keep them as short as possible and, without the congestion city-centres suffer from, it can be quicker getting here than somewhere closer to home, in some cases.
This is a private bus service for the use of The Grange School only and members of the public cannot, and do not, use the service.
There are two train stations only a 10-minute walk away from the school. Greenbank Station runs on the Chester to Manchester line; stops include Altrincham, Hale, Knutsford, Delamere and Cuddington. Hartford Station runs on the Liverpool to Birmingham line and stops include Acton Bridge, Runcorn, Winsford and Crewe.
