The Grange School's excellent A Level and GCSE results were further boosted by being announced as a top 5 North West independent school and 84th in the entire country.

The Sunday Times yearly league tables were published yesterday and saw the school climb into the top 100 independent schools in the country, up to 84th from 110th.

The Grange School GCSE Results 2019

The school celebrated its best A Level results for four years, this summer, which saw 64% of all entries achieve A*-A grades and almost 9 out of 10 grades being a grade B or higher.

These results were supported by strong GCSE results; well over two-fifths of The Grange School’s GCSE entries were graded 8 or 9, the top grades available. Students also achieved over three times the national average for those GCSEs achieving grades 7-9.

Head, Debbie Leonard, said "To see The Grange move up into the top 100 independent schools in the country and top 5 in the North West is a testament to all the hard work students, supported by staff, put into their studies. We celebrated some fantastic results in the summer and I am very proud of how our young people continue to achieve and go above and beyond."
