Year 10 and 11 pupils spent half-term in the wonderful city of Madrid on a combined Art and Football trip.
The footballers had an amazing experience training and playing at the Real Madrid training complex. In between an intense schedule of training sessions and matches they joined with the artists for some cultural enrichment. Highlights included a day trip to the beautiful city of Segovia, dinner at El Buscon, a night time stroll through the city, the El Rastro street market, Retiro Park, and of course, many inspiring art galleries.
More football related, but no less cultural, activities included an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere at an Atletico Madrid home game, and a stadium tour of the Santiago Bernabéu – the home of Real.
